Origin/History Of Covenant University (CU)
The way toward establishing Covenant University (CU) began in October 1999, one month after the devotion of Faith Tabernacle in Ota. The college is a result of the Liberation Commission and was built up by the World Mission Agency and the Living Faith Church Worldwide. Pledge University opened on 21 October 2002 in Canaanland, Ota, with a Pentecostal Christian crucial. It was established by David Oyedepo, the managing Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, who is chancellor of the university.
Minister Abraham Ojeme was named pro chancellor of the university on 23 September 2013.
