Each year, the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) opens application for Nigerian students to apply for Masters and PhD scholarships. Following are available Commonwealth Scholarships

2. Bristol University Think Big Scholarships

Bristol University is investing £500,000 to help the brightest and best international students come to the University of Bristol.

As such, note. Think Big Undergraduate scholarships and Think Big Postgraduate scholarships are available for courses starting in 2023. Also, it is one of the UK scholarships for Nigerian students.

➢ Scholarship Value: For undergraduates, a number of awards valued at £5,000 and £10,000 are available. While a number of awards valued at £5,000, £10,000, and £20,000 are available to Postgraduate students.

4. Chevening Scholarships

The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office established the Chevening Scholarship programme in 1983 and is now an internationally prestigious scheme with over 41,000 alumni including Nigerian students. Chevening awards enable Scholars to study a one-year postgraduate Master’s course in any discipline at any UK university. 5. University of Portsmouth Masters Scholarship for Ghanaian and Nigerian Students (2.2 and above)

The scholarships will be in the form of a 20% fee reduction from any tuition fee but please note, it cannot be taken in conjunction with any other fee reduction or bursary offered by the University. The scholarship is a one-off award towards a one year Masters fees and is non-renewable and only valid for study on the courses listed in the link above

6. The Denys Holland Scholarship at University College London

This scholarship aims to support undergraduate students from any country. However, students must be one who without the support of the scholarship would be unable to secure the funding required to study at UCL.

Also, students must be one who can demonstrate their intention to make full use of the activities offered by UCL and the Student Union.
